Channels and image layouts
Support covers common single-part OpenEXR images with HALF / FLOAT RGB, RGBA and grayscale channels, including scanline and supported tiled images.
EXR image viewer for scene-linear HDR
OpenEXR is common in VFX, CGI and high-dynamic-range workflows. N1 keeps supported EXR files inside the same native image browser used for conventional photos and camera RAW files.
Compression
Supported OpenEXR compression includes NONE, RLE, ZIP, ZIPS and PIZ.
Color and HDR presentation
OpenEXR chromaticities are converted to linear scRGB for Wide Gamut and HDR presentation through the N1 color pipeline.
