Fast image browsing for local folders
N1 uses preview-first navigation with an adaptive preview runway: nearby images are preloaded as you browse, persistent SSD caching keeps previews available between sessions, and the current image automatically advances to full quality. The goal is a fast photo browser that stays responsive when you move through a folder with the keyboard, Filmstrip or Gallery.
Native Windows workflow
N1 is a native Windows image viewer rather than a web-style catalog. It follows Windows Explorer order, works directly with local folders and nested subfolders, and includes filename search, folder search, filters, multi-select, copy and undoable delete.
Fast inspection, not just opening
Fullscreen, Clean View, adaptive fit-to-window behavior and fast 100% inspection are built for checking detail. Direct GPU, iGPU and CPU selection gives you control over the render path for performance, efficiency or compatibility.
Formats beyond ordinary JPEG
The same browsing workflow covers JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, HEIC / HEIF, AVIF, JPEG XL, PSD, OpenEXR, Radiance HDR and supported camera RAW formats. That makes N1 useful when a fast image viewer also needs modern and professional format support.
